Welcome to my website. My name is Ben and I enjoy photography, traveling, and playing piano.
During this August trip, we enjoyed hiking, canoeing, fishing, and exploring the terrain of northern Vermont. We stayed in a remote propane-powered pond cabin where we could reconnect with nature without the outside world's distractions.
It was both a relaxing and adventurous week, as usual. We explored Lacawac Sanctuary, Lock 31, Ledgedale Natural Area, and more. My favorite part of the trip was spending countless hours fishing, specifically waking up early each morning to do so.
During an adventurous June 2024 week, 14 students and four teachers from my school camped in Wawona, CA, in Yosemite National Park. We ventured on many hikes that led us to breathtaking scenes, including Sentinel Dome, Yosemite Falls, Glacier Point, Mirror Lake, Vernal Fall, and Mariposa Grove. We also enjoyed swimming and rafting in the Merced River. On our many adventures, we found our way through the obstacles and shared some of the most meaningful moments imaginable.
Our tenth camping trip, right in the heart of the Adirondacks. We went hiking, boating, and fishing. Our favorite part of the trip was canoeing the 6-mile Rollins Pond canoe loop. The loop passes through many rivers and lakes, including Rollins Pond, Floodwood Pond, Little Square Pond, Copperas Pond, and Whey Pond. It also includes a short canoe carry.
It was a beautiful and relaxing trip, as usual. We went swimming, fishing, kayaking, and hiking at many locations including Lacawac Sanctuary, Conservation Island, and Lock 31. One of my favorite moments was waking up at 4:30 to watch the sunrise and go fishing.
An amazing June camping trip. Hiking the Gorge Trail in the early morning and late evening was a truly cinematic experience. My favorite part of the trip was finding a geocache along the South Rim Trail on my 5 AM jog. We also hiked The Gorge and Rim trails at Robert Treman State Park.
As usual, we went on many hikes, and spent countless hours jumping off the dock and swimming.
After driving from Pennsylvania to Whitefish, MT, we were in awe by Glacier National Park. We drove the Going-to-the-sun Rd, and hiked to Avalanche Lake. Outside of Glacier, we explored Hungry Horse Reservoir, drove Blacktail Mountain, and boated on Flathead Lake. We also saw Mt. Rushmore on the way home.
A wonderful June 2022 vacation from the end of June to the start of July. We went on many adventures such as boating on Cobbosseecontee Lake, kayaking on Threemile pond, exploring the town of Belfast, walking to Fox Island, and much more.
A great spring camping trip with friends. We enjoyed exploring the campground and catching newts in the lake. We also biked the Lehigh Gorge trail again.
Lacawac Sanctuary was the highlight of this trip, as we discovered many new trails and tons of wildlife.
In June, we enjoyed this majestic week long vacation in the Adirondack Mountains. We hiked Cascade Mountain, I caught a foot-long bass, we explored the local VIC, and much more.
A calming May 2021 camping trip. We explored the boulder field, did some geocaching, and finished it with a 13-mile bike ride in Lehigh Gorge.
Covid stopped us from doing many activities, but that didn't stop us from having lots of fun.
Since we love Ricketts Glen so much, why not go again right after I finish 5th grade? That's exactly what we did. We also saw these ducklings.
A nice camping trip in August 2019, right before I started 5th grade. We explored Lake Jean's islands, hiked the Falls Trail, and went fishing (a lot.)
This was my 10th time being at Lake Wallenpaupack, since I have gone every year since I was born. 2019 was the first year I started taking photos, hence 2019 being the year where my travel timeline starts.
This was one of my favorite trips of all time; just a 10-year-old carefree kid in his favorite place in the world in June. We went to Acadia National Park, boating and fishing, and even explored "Hawaii 2."
